Coaching is many things. Put simply however, we see coaching as helping people to move from where they are to where they want or need to get to.
We all have more potential than we realize. Yet, most of us live in an inner world where we place restrictions upon ourselves. These restrictions are due largely to our limiting beliefs and low self-expectation and they literally limit what we are able to do.
“The opponent within our heads is more formidable than the one the other side of the net”.
The part of us that holds us back from doing the things we are capable of doing. This “opponent within” gain its strength from our beliefs about ourselves, beliefs that were formed long ago but no longer serves us well.
One needs an external force to enhance ones performance, some kind of inspiration to come out of our comfort zone. But, Inspiration doesn’t interrupt you; it’s something that has to be pursued. We all must feed our minds and make conscious choices about how we direct our thoughts, energy, actions and focus on desired goal; otherwise, the negativity and inevitable distractions of the day will take over.
To do this effectively, we need a Coach – who will help us to identify our limiting beliefs and then, to replace them with empowering ones. He will ensure we’re taking control of our focus, learning new tools and proven strategies to make a difference, and taking action to create momentum and produce results.
There are many examples of successful people, who had a coach to guide them and lead them.
Mr. Jack Welch, ex CEO of GE had a business coach Mr.Ram Charan.
Sachin tendulkar, also had a coach Mr. Ramakant Achrekar.
Even our Lord Ram, had a coach Lord Vashisht
